I liked TCBH a lot, but I'm a sucker for Amity. Nothing wrong with that I just felt some of the lyrics were extra corny like "All Fucked Up" juuust a tad too much.

Anyone got any opinions on the new While She Sleeps record? I think it's very well out together even though it's not really my taste at all anymore. Seems like they are going for a more Rise Against/new-BMTH type sound.

I think it's about time Coheed and Cambria release a new album.

It's a decent...hard rock album? I like it and I've never like While She Sleeps before. This album feels really accessible. Has anyone checked out the new Brutality Will Prevail album? I haven't but the few videos they released sounds decent.

I did a review of the record on my blog if you wanna check that out for better reference. *shameless self promotion* discordandwhine.tumblr.com/post/158972108445/brutality-will-prevail-in-dark-places-review

If anyone has a chance, see Code Orange live. Heaviest shit I've seen on a long ass time. Recently saw them on the Killthrax tour and holy fuck man. PERFECTION.
P.S. I haven't jammed anything else besides DAMN. I know some people don't fuck with it, but I swear I've heard this album like 10 times and I fucking love it. I vibe with every song tbh

What did everybody think of Kendrick's newest album? I listened to it three times yesterday cause I really had to have that shit digest through the day. I went in hyped cause of To Pimp a Butterfly, and the first listen was definitely a downer, but the more I listened to it I started to enjoy it more and more. I think a lot of people aren't gonna like it first listen just because of that. It's a completely different vibe to TPAB. The thing I like most about Kung Fu Kenny is the fact that every release he has sounds totally different to the last. It took me a few listens to get used to DAMN but there's some proper bangers on there (DNA, YAH, ELEMENT, FEEL, LOYALTY, and FEAR) compared to TPAB which was more of a mood record to me. Definitely one of my favourite records of his. So different to that Untitled record he put out last year which was also great. 2017 feels like a great year for hip-hop for me already with Joey Bad@ss, Kendrick, Drake, and Freddie Gibbs all putting out great records.

Oh yeah, All Fucked Up is borderline cringeworthy even for me haha. It's really this "let's talk to the kids" kind of thing, listing every single thing teenagers could have, everyone will find something to associate themselves with in that song.

I vibe with every song tbh had the luck to see them, when they were still Code Orange Kids and two times after the name change. the COK show was pretty hilarious because there were so many Beatdown kids who didn't know what to do with the sludge parts and everything (also COK weren't that hyped then). the two other shows were pretty much massacres though, one of the best live acts.

Haha okay then we even might be on the same page about TCBH, because beside these cringey teen-appeal lyrics it is daaaamn catchy.
