Hope Reus injury is not that bad... in the interview after the final he told the reporter it is something with his ACL I'm seeing six month out reports... Does anyone have worse luck than Marco Reus? Does not seem that bat. German Newspaper report only a partial ACL tear, which would mean 6-8 weeks out

24 years at Roma, what an absolute legend. Sad to say that players like him are long gone, can you imagine anyone nowadays not leaving for gross sums of money or chances at titles? I don't think they will be players like him anymore. The world has changed and money runs it. Even Messi would leave Barcelona for a good amount of money to play in Qatar or China. This is sad to say and think. Same here, just gotta love the player. even lazio fans shew him respect

He might be an exception to what I said above because he has all the money in the world and there's no real championship/record chasing to be done for him...because he has them all already.

Not sure he would be such a wonderful player in any other team, Barcelona's way of playing is just made for him and all the players are just working for Messi. He'd probably be just a 'good' player in another championship

Lots of scouts of other european teams asked for him several times but everytime his mom said "He won't be playing in another club because family's first, he either will play in Roma or Lazio" (both teams are in Rome) and he chose Roma.

He's a maestro on that team and it's beautiful to watch, the man is one of the finest footballers the world has ever seen.

No doubt the man is one of the best player I've ever seen but I don't think he'd be so successful in an English team

The former argument I would listen to and ultimately dismiss and the latter I would just immediately dismiss.

Because most of the teams are way better in Premier league than in la liga and because of the physical aspect yes. He'd still be a great player, probably even the best, but he wouldn't finish the season with 50+ goals. Barcelona plays for Messi only but that's rather logical with with such a player, that has to be this way, just like the whole Real team plays for Ronaldo or like PSG used to be all about zlatan.

Messi wouldn't last long after a clash with Forster or Fellaini. I knew Manchester City (and their arabs) wanted him but I don't think he will leave Barcelona soon. I would love to see more english players doing their job in Spain though, last BIG name I remember is Beckham (Bale doesn't count to me becuase we all know welsh football with english football.
