It irked me in doses in shows like Code Geass, but KLK might be a little to extra at least to sit down and binge like I've binging most of my anime. However KLK does fall right enough into that "dumb but fun" slot so I might get through it an episode at a time over time. I'm probably going to jump into something else for my next binge, HXH or One Piece, maybe Stein's Gate. Gotta watch some trailers and deliberate. Bruh, One Piece is closing in on Episode 1000. That's dedication. HxH is 144ish. Yeahhhhhh I quickly deduced that when I started reading into it lol. I might check it out at somepoint, but for now HxH has been a grand ol time. I think someone warned me at some point about the pacing being meh at times so I was ready when an entire episode was literally a rock paper scissors match. I'm on Episode 23 already, this show is what I was looking for.

But so far, super good.

Does anyone have much experience with kickassanime.rs? I was just putzing around with it and it seems like it has all the anime you could ever want. It might be how I watch anime moving forward, but it seems like it may be way better than any paying streaming service.

Whats everyone been up to? I finished Demon Slayer over the weekend. Really fun series, planning to watch the movie soon. Still going with my Studio Ghibli rewatch too (last one I watched was Princess Mononoke). Next up I'm planning to work through Mamoru Oshii's works, starting with the Patlabor: The Early Days OVA series. On the manga front, I finally managed to track down every volume of Monster so I'll be getting stuck into that. Had to order a couple from the US and Australia. Also picked up Satoshi Kon's Opus. Looking forward to that one. What have you watched/read, Baker?

Demon Slayer movie is coming to the states on April 23rd.

I liked Kon's Opus; I guess it's moot point to say I wish there was more of it...

Hmm, where am I at?
Manga All the stuff I'm up to date on My Hero Academia - Stuffs getting pretty wild. Especially with this next chapter, finally seeing them. Jagaaaaan My Dearest Self With Malice Aforethought - newest chapter is opening this up so much more, super stoked One Punch Man Record of Ragnarok - can't fucking wait to see what happens next. this fight is gonna be fucking nuts Dragonball Super - good start to the new arc, just watching all the pieces start to come. I hope Brolly comes in for this one
New stuff Tokyo Ghoul; Re - one of my favourite manga's follow ups. slow start Zombie 100 - having fun with this one. Spy x Family - took a break for a bit, other stuff seemed more important Burn the Witch - from the dude who did bleach. Was gonna crush this this weekend, only 4 chapters out, I'm halfway done
Anime Jo Jo's - Man... I tried. People who love this, fucking are so die hard. But I couldnt get past the first few episodes. I've heard a lot of people say it really pics up in the 3rd part.. but thats 70+ episodes of just.... Whatever the fuck you wanna call that? Black Clover - we put this one the backburner because of all the filler that we got into (we're around 130 something), but with them announcing the seires is gonna be done, we're gonna get right back into it.. My buddy told me what episodes to avoid, so we're gonna get right into the good stuff Fire Force - got a few episodes of season 2 left. Enjoying it still. Haven't watched in a few weeks Hunter X Hunter - Just got to the Chimera Ant arc, and i'd say we're near the midway of it Jujutsu Kaisen - holy fuck this one is so god damn good. I can't wait for season 1 to finish. I'm gonna jump into the manga right after. I did the first 6 chapters way back when (like a year and a half ago) but now I gotta read ahead. Attack on Titan - I dont have to say anything, because you all know. XleviX The Promised Neverland - I watched the first 2 episodes, and it was dope. then we lagged behind on catching up, and now theyre like... skipping 70+ chapters? what the actual fuck. Theres so much stuff they glossed over, and so many dope characters we may not see? Sword Art Online - Girlfreinds favourite anime. She's always wanted me to get into it, so I've been secretly watching it. It's okay. Season 1 was good, for half... They gloss over 2 years way too damn fast. and then Alfenheim (sp?), not a fan at all. I did enjoy the GGO part of season 2, that just finished. and now back into ALO? not a fan of that. We'll see. Re; Zero - first season was super fun. enjoyed it a lot. Then part 1 of season 2.... man, it felt like a chore. waiting for a few episodes of part 2 to go so we can binge. Heard it gets better. Also, Rem is waifu
still so much more to read and watch, but I'm doing the best I can haha.

As someone who loved Sword Art Online initially, I totally agree with that assessment. Season 1 Part 1 was full of potential, Season 1 Part 2 was awful. Season 2 Part 1 was back to being great. Sinon is best girl, don't @ me. Season 2 Part 2 was okay but lacked any kind of specific narrative for the first half. That being said, it has all been downhill from there. Sword Art Online: Alicization is a nice reset of the formula, but it still hasn't been very promising for me. Watching Sword Art Online has turned into a chore for me lately and that makes me sad. On the bright side, the spinoff, Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online probably does it better than anything in the original series. Interested to see how you feel about it once you catch up. It certainly isn't the worst anime I've ever seen, but it definitely doesn't stack up to some of the higher-tier stuff.
Re:Zero resonated with me hard when I first watched it. I remember binging it one episode after another. Episode 15 blew my fucking mind and is still one of the best episodes I've ever seen in an anime. Rem has solidified herself as one of the best-supporting characters. I think we all want someone in our life who supports us like Rem supports Subaru. Makes sense why she wins so many user voting polls. I've still got to start season 2, but I'm waiting for it all to be out before really digging in.
I'm pretty confident Attack on Titan will go down as one of the best animes of all time. Every season has been pretty perfect. I'm eagerly awaiting this last season. Attack on Titan is one of the few anime I plan to read the manga of. Levi and Mikasa easily steal the show with their badassery. I'm always impressed at how complex the political aspect of the show is and how it always keeps me guessing about the history of the Titans. Seriously, some top-tier storytelling and character building.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure was really hard for me to get into. I knew it was a shonen anime but I didn't expect it to be so slow. The first season took me forever to finish, but in the end, I really did enjoy it. I eagerly started season 2 and hit a fucking wall. That season has so much filler it almost becomes unbearable. By the time you actually get to the climax of the arc, you're kind of burnt out on the concept. I really do think it'll be worthwhile in the end, but I struggled to get into the hype. The animation style
I loved Soul Eater so I've been meaning to start up Fire Force. Atsushi Ohkubo's character design and art direction are so unique and I love these characters before I've even watched a single episode. Might be a while until I get around to this show with My Hero Academia coming back and a lot of these shows finishing up soon. Also plan on watching KonoSuba with my girlfriend after we finish up some of the Disney+ shows we're trying to get through while we're paying for the service. We just finished Assassination Classroom, that show was an experience. It had been on my watchlist for some time, so I'm glad I can finally add it to my watched tab on MyAnimeList. Highly recommend it if you want a show that has some comedy in it and some really good characters.

Highly recommend it if you want a show that has some comedy in it and some really good characters. I went into it expecting way more action, way less slice of life. 90% of an episode is about feel good stuff and learning subjects, and then 10% is them trying to assassinate him. I guess I just expect more from it. I enjoyed the first season, and will eventually watch the 2nd, but feel like it could've been better. I'm gonna be watching all of SAO before I get into GGO, if I even do. I may have SAO fatigue after this. I've done nearly 2 seasons and the first movie (which was like 90% recap) in 4 days?

Yeah it’s something you’re gonna have to deal with in some anime, but I hate that fanservice shit and there is a ton of anime out there that pretty much avoids it. It irked me in doses in shows like Code Geass, but KLK might be a little to extra at least to sit down and binge like I've binging most of my anime. However KLK does fall right enough into that "dumb but fun" slot so I might get through it an episode at a time over time. Took me like a year to binge the whole thing and it was worth every second. Once it got going I literally never got bored
