I finished Demon Slayer over the weekend. Really fun series, planning to watch the movie soon. Still going with my Studio Ghibli rewatch too (last one I watched was Princess Mononoke).

Next up I'm planning to work through Mamoru Oshii's works, starting with the Patlabor: The Early Days OVA series.

On the manga front, I finally managed to track down every volume of Monster so I'll be getting stuck into that. Had to order a couple from the US and Australia. Also picked up Satoshi Kon's Opus. Looking forward to that one.

What have you watched/read, Baker?

I actually have the two Patlabor films Oshii did, and they're actually quite good. Definitely recommend if you can find them.

I liked Kon's Opus; I guess it's moot point to say I wish there was more of it...

The Patlabor films seem to be pretty well reviewed, glad to hear you liked them. I've been trying to work my way through the famous auteur directors in anime lately and Oshii is the last one on my list. I loved Ghost in the Shell and its sequel but never delved any deeper than that.

I'll report back on Opus once I've read it

Alrighty, officially done with season 4 of Hunter X Hunter, still absolutely loving it. But given the last two seasons are just as long as the first 4 combined I'm going to dip my toe in the Jujutsu Kaisen bucket to give the pallet a good cleanse.

Man I'm in a rut. Ever since all the shows I was into ended, and I caught up in most things I haven't found an anime I've enjoyed in a while. What are some lesser known ones yall liked, or what are some of your favorites?

Lol whoops, been busy and haven't been online in general much! So I ended up finally getting hooked on Jojo recently, and I'm in the middle of Golden Wind which is far and away the best season so far. You can straight up skip directly to it to see why people like Jojo so much lmao. 

I've been letting my one piece backlog build, but after finishing JJK I've been kinda lost. Almost done with Dororo, and I started Golden Kamuy but I haven't gone back to those in a while. Also still watching Gintama but that's a tough binge. Honestly, the animated show that got me the most hyped lately was Invincible lmao. 

I've also been reading a ton of Berserk, fucking RIP Kentaro Miura

Any Evangelion fans here? I've been rewatching the Rebuild movies ahead of 3.0+1.0 being released this weekend. I forgot how they'd taken a totally different direction from the original series. Really enjoyed the first two but the third one felt a bit too psychedelic, even for my tastes.
