Platforms: PC | PlayStation 4 | Xbox One Release Date: February 22, 2019 In Anthem, a new game from EA's BioWare studio, explore a landscape of primeval beauty, confront the dangers you find, and grow in power with every step. | Videos |
This is the project that the majority of the people who worked on the Mass Effect Trilogy have been doing for the past few years. They nicknamed this project Dylan because they wanted this game to be the Bob Dylan of video games, which I can only assume they want this game to do everything. Anything Bioware does automatically is on my radar, it will be interesting if this game does well if they'll just let Mass Effect die off. Given there turbulent release of Andromeda it should be interesting to see how EA handles this one.

Game seems cool, has kinda similar Destiny traits to it. Look forward to seeing more about it and play the Beta

I went from being really excited to this game to feeling like it is just another third person open world shooter. It is giving me way too many The Division & Ghost Recon vibes to feel like this will be fun in the long run. My least favorite part about everything Bioware is doing lately is how they're trying to make everything open world. I feel like Mass Effect and Dragon Age (argubly their two most successful franchises) were at their best when they weren't open world. When they give a small slice of an area to explore and get the feeling of where you are and the conflict at hand. As soon as they went into the open world aspect of the game I completely forgot why they were even suppose to be out there.

Ahhh, god damn. I just saw the trailer on Facebook and was halfway through making a thread for this. So pumped to give this one a shot, though. It's like Iron Man and Halo had a post-apocalyptic baby. I'm hoping for cross-platform play so I can adventure with my dad (PC) and my brother (Xbox One), but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

I really hope this game lives up to what its promised, super stoked if so. Also really glad this isnt Ubisoft, EA has done great things in the past and they've really fucked up certain games but this shit looks dope!

I love the story driven bioware games but this looks like a blatant destiny cash grab

Story trailer is actually giving me some hope this isn't going to be garbage. Now I've just got to really hope EA doesn't fuck it up!
