Never thought I'd get into it, but it's pretty fun.

Minecraft. Never thought I'd get into it, but it's pretty fun. I take it you hadn't played it ever until now? I have been resisting this game for multiple reasons, and thus, I've yet to play it. But as of recent, I have this interest to just experience it. On the other hand, fuck video games. I aint got time for that anymore. But seriously, I'm kinda curious about trying this lol My first feeling about this game was that it seemed like too much work. Like, who wants to play a video game where you build shit one block at a time? I get that there's more depth to it, but it just feels too much like work to me in concept that I didn't want to try it.

Nope, never. Always thought it was super lame.
I find it super fun now. The whole randomly generated worlds are fucking awesome. Even my first World is cool as fuck, so cool that I made an underground cave into a safehouse. Still have lots of work to do, but the whole idea of it is pretty neat. It's probably the easiest game to build stuff too, at least IMO. I threw a bunch of mods into it as well, and it's soooooo enjoyable. Turned the enemies off at first just because they were annoying, and I find peaceful mode way more relaxing.

Cool. I might get it on my phone when I upgrade to the next phone to have something like that on me when I’m on the road and stuff. I’m sure it would help kill my current phone’s battery in a flash, since I’m still on my iPhone 6s. Probably gonna hold onto it until the 12 comes out. Would rather do console version, but the older I get and further into parenthood I go, the less time I spend on consoles. Haven’t actually touched my PS4 since my son was born 3 months ago...lol

Going to be checking out the open beta for Ghost Recon Breakpoint once it installs. Looking forward to it.

Super Smash Brothers Ultimate I’ve been playing classic mode over and over, unlocking more and more characters. Currently I have 52 characters on the selection screen and I’m still having new challenger battles at the end of classic mode. It’s crazy how many characters they put into the game this time! However, there are way too many Fire Emblem characters with same movesets, which is a waste of a roster spot in my opinion. Give me another Pokémon instead of another Marth spin-off character, please.

Currently playing Rime: It's an adventure game that owes a lot to Journey and Ico, but I loved those games so much that I'm more than happy to repeat the experience.
Games I've played through since I last posted in this thread... One of the best walking sims I've played. Loved the story. Solid 8/10
Played through it with a friend in one night. Not as good as Until Dawn but still fun. 6.5/10
Incredible world building, stunning graphics, atmospheric, beautiful music. Only complaint is the gameplay wasn't enjoyable enough for me to grind the platinum. 9.5/10
I'm a huge fan of the original Life is Strange. This didn't hit the same notes/feels as hard as it tried, and the voice acting was a little annoying. Still pretty solid. 7/10
I was stoked to play this but the gameplay wasn't for me. Abandoned it a few hours in.
Still hooked on the multiplayer but the campaign was a 7/10. Grinded out the platinum. Another walking sim. I didn't enjoy the storytelling mechanic much but it was an original idea and set in space, and a pretty easy platinum. 6.5/10
I think this probably classes as a walking sim. Set on abandoned island with a dark past, which is literally my favourite setting. Had a lot of good elements but the plot was a little weak. 6.5/10
I love horror games but there are some that just put me so on edge that I don't enjoy them. This was one of them. Abandoned within an hour. Sad because apparently it's great.
A detective game set in a snowy Quebec town. The gameplay mechanics felt really dated and there were way too many notes that I couldn't be bothered to read. 6/10
I'm trying to work my way through my backlog before the PS5 drops, so will have a lot more to post in the coming months

I keep turning my ps4 on then staring at my phone until it's time to go to bed then I turn it off Hahaha! This happened to me a lot last year when I still had my PS4 plugged in! Mostly I was constantly getting messages from coworkers and family in the evenings, stalling my gaming, but yeah, I can relate. Lol

The cartridge is still inside my Switch, but I bought Witcher 3 on the Nintendo online store about a month ago or so and I haven’t stopped playing that. I don’t see a return to Smash Brothers in my near future.
