Bringing this thread back to life!
Two races into the new season and well about what we thought. Hamilton/Vettel battle which should get super intense throughout the season.
This weekend we have Bahrain and hopefully its on at a reasonable time. I hate having to record it and watch it the next morning.

I was really surprised how the Red Bulls performed last race. If it weren't for the weather conditions/crashes it might have been an entire different race. Max/Daniel aiming for another P5/P6 position in China which is reasonable looking at the car they got. Can't wait for those upgrades. Giovanazzi did also great in his ifrst race, sadly it was inexperience that cost him to finish the race last week.

I have a feeling the Ferrari are going to fall away and Hamilton will cruise to the title. They seem to have some reliability issues. Hopefully will be proved wrong and we'll get a competitive championship.

I thought I heard that somewhere

Yeah, I heard they are going for the ''B'' car when they have their first race in Europe but major updates should be arriving in Canada. Currently watching the race. That crash with Stroll & Sainz and Verstappen retiring changed the entire race. Poor Stroll though. Nothing but bad luck for him the past three races. Also, Alonso on the on board radio when the team responded that they were going for plan B: ''do whatever you want''. F1 improved so much this year with Ecclestone out and Liberty Media in.

Terrible crash in the Formula 4 from the weekend:
The driver of the car the video was shot from is a 17-year-old British kid. Looks like serious leg injuries. Surprising this doesn't happen more often after someone spins out on track.

Finally got a chance to watch the whole race through last night and it was pretty solid. Something about F1 under the lights in Bahrain is just so fucking special. All the different color cars on a pretty flat circuit is spectacular. Really feel for Verstappen, such a terrible way to go out in a race. Three races in and Vettel up by a couple points, Russia should be interesting.

Eh, bit of a whatever race. Had a few good moments but it sucks that Kimi and Max went out so early.
Tough tough break for Mag, soooooo close and a stupid puncture with one lap to go. Feel for the guy.
Also, that battle between Hamilton and Vettel when Vettel was exiting pit lane was so intense. Easily my favorite moment of the race.

This year is going to be good. I wish Kimi had won the race though.

Did anybody catch the Azerbaijan Grand Prix? The race was entertaining, Ricciardo deserves to be in the spotlight more. Lewis and Seb are acting like babies.

I did, it was a shame Verstappen's car broke down once again though.. 4th retirement this season, only 1 was his fault. He wants the fuck out of Redbull so badly and I hope he does move on. Him and Vettel at Ferrari would be very entertaining. The last race was pretty awesome, totally unexpected because of how lame last years race was. I love how Alonso still has so much respect that he literally told race control to go to red flag so they can clean up the entire course. My thoughts on the whole Vettel/Hamilton issue is that both are bitches, lets be honest. I honestly didnt see much a of break check from Hamilton as I saw massive tailgating from Vettel. I do agree with Hamilton that it was a pretty weak punishment of only 10 seconds, any other racer it would be been a lot more. Cannot wait for this weekend, everything is really heating up. Also, great win for Ricciardo! So stoked for him.
